Get ready for the St. Jude Fund Raiser 5K Run for Big Vanilla Pasadena and Arnold Clubs! October 30 at 8 a.m. @ Big Vanilla Arnold (Sign in begins 6:45 a.m.). BIGGER AND BETTER! This year we hope to break our record and donate over $10,000 to the Children of St. Jude. This is our third Halloween themed 5k Charity Race and we hope you will join us for the fun! The race will begin at the Anne Arundel Community College Stadium and end here at Big Vanilla. Prizes for runners and costumes will be awarded. Take It Off Weight Loss Program

Take it off!This program is exercise and meal planning. One-on-one coaching, real food, shopping instructions, and the template to improve your entire family’s health and habits. Program is 12 weeks in length and can be repeated. Participants who follow the program will lose between 18 and 25 pounds while gaining lean muscle mass to maintain the weight loss forever. Sessions are limited to 15 persons per session. Non-members must purchase a 3 month membership.
Coaching, education, recipes, team support and accountability make this program a success.
Sign up for one of our upcoming sessions starting: August 30, September 13, 27, October 11, 25, November 8, 22, December 13, and 27. The Take It Off Program accomplishes both short and long-term weight loss by following three specific philosophies:

  1. Healthy Weight Loss eating plan, not just healthy eating. Weight loss is a calories-in, calories-out equation. When you consume fewer calories than your body expends in a day, you will lose weight. The challenge, however, is preventing hunger while trying to restrict calories. The solution is following an eating plan that encourages choosing foods that are high-density, low-calorie while avoiding high-calorie, low-density.
  2. Exercise for Life. For adults 80% of successful weight loss is the result of following the right eating plan. However, 80% of successful weight maintenance is the result of regular exercise.
  3. Accountability. Having the right information about a healthy weight loss plan and the facilities to work out in are necessary elements for weight loss success. Having someone to be accountable to can make a big difference. That is why the Take It Off Program incorporates one-on-one coaching. Meeting with your coach once or twice weekly provides the focus, motivation and inspiration necessary to stay on track.

90-Day Challenge Open to Members & Non-Members

This program will change how you feel about exercise. Give your coaches and team 12 weeks to inspire, educate and motivate you towards achieving your ultimate health goals. The 90-Day Challenge is a proven team fitness program designed to help you succeed. We’ll help you set a goal and then acquire the skills and mindset you need to attain it, all while going about health and fitness in a way we bet you’ve never tried before!

Cardio Combat

Based on traditional cardio kickboxing; features cardio-pumping music, calorie burning and muscle defining workouts; designed for a total body conditioning and training program that teaches basic self-defense techniques through various styles of martial arts studied by Jonathan. This is a boot camp styled kickboxing-training program that is geared to help you get fit, get toned!

Body Balance - The Lifelong System of Wellness

Stay young while growing older. Full body strengthening, toning and flexibility exercises to maximize fitness and wellness, for performing daily activities of living, with emphasis on nutrition, flexibility and cardio respiratory training.

Dynamic Group Training

Gather up the girlfriends, the boys, the wives, or couples and form a group - and Save Money! Every workout will have new exercises that will challenge your body and work a wide variety of muscles instead of just one muscle at a time. There is never a dull moment in this class!!

Fit Test

Fitness assessment and nutritional guidelines as preparation for serious training. This two session appointment will cover conditioning fundamentals and measure intensity and commitment. 50% of the fee can be applied towards the cost of the B-Camp training.

Pull Your Weight With A Gravity Session

Proven to strengthen, lengthen and tone with less time than traditional weight training! These machines challenge your body and every little muscle you have. A Gravity certified trainer is always present to insure proper form and execution to keep you safe and in the game! Twice a week for 30 minutes a class or once a week for an hour - for results you can measure and see.

DEEP WATER RUNNING (DWR)

Deep water running can replace up to 20% of your road training. It is impact-free running which reduces stress on your joints and decreases spinal compression. Deep water running increases oxygen intake due to 20x more resistance than road running.

Zumba Classes

Move to the beat in this fun workout and join the Zumba party! You will experience a total body workout with the hottest Latin rhythms and moves! Have fund and get fit ... no experience necessary!

Forever Fit Club

This class is specially designed to meet the needs of our mature adults, age 55 and over. The class consists of 30-minutes of cardio with low impact aerobics followed by 30-minutes of resistance training. The café will run special senior discounts on these days as well. All fitness levels welcome.

Special Needs Training

Exercise has been proven to be beneficial for children and adults with Autism, ADHD and many attention and hyperactivity issues. The process of detoxification and release of unused energy have positive effects on mood, alertness and motor control. Big Vanilla employs trainers who have shown great skill and unparallel patience while training clients who have special needs.
