- Three-time conference champion at Towson State University and holder of three school records in track & field (400 & 800 meters)
- Four-time high school coach of the year for track & field
- Coached four high school All-Americans in track & field and two in Cross Country
- Coached the Maryland state record for the girls mile, girls 3200m relay, and girls 800m dash
- Invited to Olympic Training Center twice to work with elite middle distance group.
