Group Fitness Class Descriptions
AM YOGA/ Yoga – The Mind/ body Practice of Hatha Yoga, bringing breath (pranayama) and body together, to bring awareness of self and to improve strength, flexibility and mobility. All fitness levels
VINYASA YOGA – An active practice that links sequences of asanas together, forming a dynamic flow that will improve strength, flexibility, and stability. All fitness levels.
BOOT CAMP CIRCUIT - This interval class is set up in circuits, using basic calisthenics, agility training, jump ropes & weights to take you through basic training. All fitness levels.
FOREVER YOUNG CLUB - This class is specially designed to meet the needs of our mature adults,
Age 55 and over. There is 30minutes of cardio, lo impact aerobics, followed by 30 minutes of resistance training. The café will run special senior discounts on these days as well. All fitness levels.
JUST DANCE - This alternative fitness class incorporates the latest hip hop/ Funk and Jazz dance moves into hi/lo choreography. Just get up and Dance! No dance experience necessary. All levels.
Group Strength – This is strength training at its best. Burn fat and build muscle using the Cardio Barbell training Equipment. You will work every muscle group in this challenging one hour class. All fitness levels.
Group Strength Intervals - This is the same strength training workout as in Group strength, however the workout is combined with short intervals of cardiovascular training to “kick it up a notch”. All fitness levels.
STEP-N-ABS - Intermediate step class with multi-intensity moves for a challenging workout followed by abdominals. Intermediate class-Some Step experience necessary
STEP N BOSU – This class incorporates stability training along with step training for a great cardio workout to improve strength and endurance. All levels
STEP-N-SCULPT or WEIGHTS - 40-45 min. step training followed by 15-20 min. interval training with weights and abdominal work. Basic knowledge of “step” required.
PILATES / BAR - Pilates Core work along with Body Bar Weight training to strengthen the entire body.
TMC - 60 min. resistance training using weights, bands and the step as a prop for Total Muscle Conditioning. All fitness levels
*YRG –YOGA FOR REGULAR GUYS AND GALS - This class is a non-traditional yoga class that fuses old-school calisthenics and core stability training with Power yoga. This combination will add strength and endurance to all that you do. No yoga experience necessary.
*ZUMBA - Ditch the workout and join the Party. Burn fat and work your core doing the latest Latin dance steps. The steps are basics and fun to do. No dance experience necessary, just a party attitude!
