Big V Group Fitness
Get ready for the St. Jude Fund Raiser 5K Run for Big Vanilla Pasadena and Arnold Clubs! October 30 at 8 a.m. @ Big Vanilla Arnold (Sign in begins 6:45 a.m.). BIGGER AND BETTER! This year we hope to break our record and donate over $10,000 to the Children of St. Jude. This is our third Halloween themed 5k Charity Race and we hope you will join us for the fun! Costumes are optional but encouraged! Ages 13 and up are welcome to register. See last year's Race facts and photos. The race will begin at the Anne Arundel Community College Stadium and end here at Big Vanilla. Prizes for runners and costumes will be awarded. Group Fitness at Big Vanilla Arnold will help you become a part of something really special. It is your chance to explore a way of taking your fitness level to new heights, and to make friends at the same time! It’s like getting a Personal Trainer for free. Our class schedule has something for everyone - from Group Strength, to Yoga, Pilates, Cycling, Step, Boot Camp, Hip Hop, Belly Dance and Bosu training.
Based on numerous fitness studies that have been conducted over the years, we know that people who work out in a group get better results and stay members longer than machine-only members. Why? It's because of our world class instructors that coach you, fantastic music to motivate you, and other members to help keep you going when you feel like quitting!
Don't worry if you have never taken a group fitness class before. All of our classes are multilevel, which means beginners as well as advanced exercisers are in the same class. The first time you take a group fitness class be sure to tell the instructor you are new to class and if you have any limitations. Our certified instructors will show modifications to high impact and more complex moves so that everyone can enjoy the class at their own pace. You can go at your own pace in any class, and low intensity/impact options will always be shown. We want your first experience to be unforgettable so that you continue to come back week after week. That is our goal.
We offer beginner clinics for Step, Cycling, Yoga and Pilates, two Saturdays each month. Group fitness classes are an excellent way to improve your strength, flexibility, and cardiovascular endurance, as well as improve mind and body awareness. All group fitness classes are free to club members.

Special Notice for Cyclers! The Cycling sign in procedure has changed! WE ARE ELIMINATING THE NUMBERS! Please continue to sign in at the front desk for all cycling classes! Then be sure to get your hand stamped instead of getting a number!
Certified Instructors (ACE, AFAA, AAAI/ISMA, CPR) Please keep all water bottles off aerobic room floor. Please keep all belongings with you or bring a lock and put all items in a locker.
