Get ready for the St. Jude Fund Raiser 5K Run for Big Vanilla Pasadena and Arnold Clubs! October 30 at 8 a.m. @ Big Vanilla Arnold (Sign in begins 6:45 a.m.). BIGGER AND BETTER! This year we hope to break our record and donate over $10,000 to the Children of St. Jude. This is our third Halloween themed 5k Charity Race and we hope you will join us for the fun! Costumes are optional but encouraged! Ages 13 and up are welcome to register. See last year's Race facts and photos. The race will begin at the Anne Arundel Community College Stadium and end here at Big Vanilla. Prizes for runners and costumes will be awarded. Come to the Pasadena Adult Poolside Party on Saturday, July 17th! This party will be from 7:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. and is for persons 21 years old or older. Live music by local Minivan Halen! Listen and dance to your favorite hits from the 70s through today. Food and beverages sold poolside, including beer, wine and margaritas. The Big Vanilla offers a Boot Camp class with a no excuse attitude. The question is ... are you up for a challenge and are you willing to commit to three days of exercise to see your fitness level improve? To improve your level of fitness our instructor will guide you through a series of exercises that will target improvements in strength, cardiovascular endurance, and flexibility. Furthermore, nutritional suggestions will be given with the intent to encourage better eating habits. Register online now!

Introduction to Yoga Workshop
Try this workshop if you’ve been hesitant to try yoga for the first time or to brush up on the basics - either way, you’ll feel more confident when you go to one of Big V’s group yoga classes. Learn the fundamental poses and their names, proper alignment to prevent injury, and pose modifications for beginners. Explore yoga philosophy as well as breathing and relaxation techniques. Come find out how yoga creates true health by developing a steady mind, an invigorated body and a deeper connection to the soul. This is a beginner-focused, totally non-intimidating workshop. All fitness levels welcome!
Road Race Training
This program is designed for the person who has always wanted to compete in a road race, like a 5K, but does not know how to train for races. Brian Funk, a 4-time Track Coach of the Year, will guide the group to develop speed and endurance, improve your personal best, and maximize proper stretching techniques. This program will also provide the group with opportunities to race together locally. Learn the best way to prepare for road races with this program!

Glute-Y Camp
A series of exercises, intervals, and combinations that will increase overall cardio endurance with particular emphasis on lower body movements. Squats, lunges, and power moves are performed to strengthen, define, and tone all of the major lower body muscles. “Make your backside your best side!”
Body Plus
Join this great small group program to expand your current exercise program. We will utilize various equipment for this program. Wondering what the “Plus” is? We will also include core and flexibility training to give a well rounded program!

Ladies Dance Combo: Age 17 +
Looking for a new way to exercise? Work your posture, balance and core through ballet & tap, and jazz exercises. No experience necessary. May take one or both 6 week sessions.
