Swim Lessons Level 1
Introduction to Water Skills is an introduction to floating, kicking and arm movement.
Swim Lessons Level II
Swimmers will work on floating and combining arm and leg motions to swim unassisted for 15 feet on front and back. There is a focus on water safety skills like bobbing and treading water.
Swim Lessons Level III
Swimmers will front crawl and backstroke for 15 yards, tread water and float for 30 seconds.
Private Lessons
Our instructors, coaches, water exercise leaders and personal trainers are available for private instruction. You pick the time, the instructor, and the skills you want to work on. Strokes Clinics
With USA Qualified Coaches. Clinics are designed for swimmers who are currently on a swim team and are reasonably proficient in all four strokes. Clinics will include drill work, stroke mechanics and instruction to improve stroke flaws.
Swim Teams
Swim Team Minis
For swimmers who can swim 25 yards of backstroke and 25 yards freestyle. Practices will focus on proper technique: strokes, starts, turns and finishes.
Swim Team Novice
Open to 9-12 year olds who can swim all 4 competitive strokes legally.
Swim Team Advanced
For swimmers 12 years and older who can swim all 4 competitive strokes legally. These swimmers generally have some competitive swimming experience and are prepared for a challenging workout.
Adult Water Fitness Classes
ADULT WATER FITNESS CLASSES
H2O Aerobics
This is a full body workout that introduces a safe and fun way to use water as one big resistance machine. Anything goes in this class, including: weights, noodles, cardiovascular intervals, deep water conditioning, hydro-tone, and step.
Aqua Jog Class
This one-hour long class covers all basic energy levels in one class: cardio, strength training and flexibility. Class is designed to burn excess body fat without over stressing joints and muscles.
Early Morning Masters
Competitive swimming team for adults age 18 or older. Three days of training is available during the week. Coaching is geared to improving stroke mechanics in the four competitive swimming strokes. Workouts vary for the beginning/lap swimmer to the former collegiate swimmers.
Mid-Morning Masters
1.5 hour workout geared to adults that are available during mid-mornings. Workouts will focus on parents of school aged children looking for aquatic exercise, competition, stress release and fun.
Pool will be closed April 21 - April 27 for annual draining, cleaning and Dome removal.
Kids Aquatics
Mommy and Me Swim
Children will learn to be comfortable in the water through songs and games. Parent will help child blow bubbles, put face in the water, jump in and begin to learn to float. Class is 30 minutes long.
Climb and Splash
30 minutes of learning rolling, pre-cartwheels, simple vaults, locomotion skills in different directions, swinging, balancing, and weight transfer on and off our specialized equipment. Then 30 minutes of splash time in the pool. Classes begin in the Kids Fitness Center. Participants must be dressed in swim suits. One Parent MUST be present during each class.
Junior Gym & Swim
This class requires registration. No drop-in allowed. The class is designed for 30-minutes of land based cardio, flexibility and strength training and 30-minutes of cardio activities and water safety in the pool. Participants MUST come dressed in swim suit prepared for a quick transition from land to pool. Class begins in Kids Fitness Center and ends at the Main Pool.
INTERMEDIATE
Children must be able to swim 15 yards of freestyle with their face in the water and 25 yards backstroke.
COMPETITIVE
Children must be able to swim 25 yards of freestyle with proficient lateral breathing and 25 yards of backstroke and have some knowledge of breaststroke.
