Group Fitness
We have over 65 classes per week!!
We offer the latest types of classes available in the industry today, from Pilates & Yoga to Hip-Hop & Cycling. All of our classes are multilevel; this means beginners as well as advanced exercisers are in the same class. The first time you take a group fitness class be sure to tell the instructor you are new to class and if you have any limitations. Our certified instructors will show modifications to high impact and more complex moves so that everyone can enjoy the class at their own pace. We offer beginner clinics for Step, Cycling, Yoga and Pilates, two Saturdays each month. Check out the schedule below.

Group fitness classes are an excellent way to improve your strength, flexibility, and cardiovascular endurance, as well as improve mind and body awareness. All group fitness classes are free to club members. Non-members can participate by paying a daily guest fee of $20.

Part 1: "Energy Flow" with Donna Pia Vocci, Reiki Master Deep breathing/visualization to create slower brain waves and more receptive mind, channeling or self-healing energies, and a crown center energy assessment. A tea service wil consist of a sampling of a pomegranate colong tea, with a brief discussion of tea and health. Lynayn Mielke is a licensed acupuncturist and has earned certification as a Tea Specialist from The Specialty Tea Institute of the U.S. She focusses on integrating acupuncture, nutrition and tea to support wellness and believes the addition of these treatments to traditional Western medicine is the way to achieve optimum health.

Part 2: "The Yoga Experience" with Patti Jaffe, RYT Patty brings the East to the West in this total yoga immersion. Join us for a 3 hour practice to include pranyama (breathing technique), the Philosophy of Quantum Physics, a full and invigorating asana practice (with live Drumming) and Paty's specialty: A Guided Imagery Meditation. Directly following, a buffet will be served of authentic vegetarian Indian food.

“Saturday Dance Special” with Sherri Jolly
If you like to dance, check out these specialty dance classes. They are held twice a month and feature a different type of dance technique. So come out and put a little twirl in your weekend.

Isn’t Yoga Just Stretching? The Fundamentals of Yoga Postures
Some believe that yoga is only for flexible girls. Not so! Yoga is for anyone who wants to live comfortably inside their body. This 2 hour workshop will introduce the yoga practice to the “inflexible” and review fundamental technique to those seeking a deeper understanding of the postures.

Upside Down Yoga/Yoga Inversions
There are physiological benefits to being upside down! Gravity helps to reverse the body’s blood flow, which is calming to arterial function, quieting to a stressful mind and even exercises the veins, which can prevent varicose veins. This 2-hour workshop will instruct students on the technical aspects of yoga inversions. Postures will be performed at the wall with assistance.

"Girls Only" Fitness Boot Camp
Looking for something different this Spring? This Camp will offer participants aerobic, strength and core conditioning through activities such as kickboxing, outdoor running, calisthenics, push-ups, agility drills, circuit training, Pilates, rock climbing, swimming and stability ball. Each day of camp has a different theme and includes “talk time” to discuss proper nutrition and healthy eating habits. Participants will end the day with Yoga and journal writing. This camp will encourage girls to discover their inner selves, to feel good about who they are, and to develop positive self esteem and self-respect. Read more about the boot camps.
