Big Vanilla Pasadena Athletic Club Location & Hours

Big Vanilla Pasadena is conveniently located at the corner of Magothy Beach Rd. and Route 100 in the Chesapeake Health Park. Call 410-437-4242 for more information.

Memorial Day Hours: Club 5 a.m. – 2 p.m. • Aquatics Facility 5 a.m. - 5 p.m. • Infant Care and Kids Club will be open until noon • Group Classes: no 6:00 a.m. and no evening classes. • Aquatics will not have classes or lessons • Outdoor Pools open 7 a.m. – 5 p.m. • Pool access from 2 p.m. - 5 p.m.. through the rear gate of the building. Sherman's Martial Arts will be closed Saturday May 29, 2010 through Monday, May 31, 2010.

Inclement Weather Policy Big Vanilla Pasadena Club Hours (Labor Day to Memorial Day)

Monday - Friday: 5:00 a.m. - 11 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday: 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Kids Club Hours*

2010 Kids Club Hours are: Monday-Friday 8:20 a.m.-1:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.–8:30.p.m.
Saturday’s 8:20 a.m.-12:00 p.m. and Sunday’s 1:00 p.m.- 4:00 p.m.
In addition, on scheduled school closings Kids Club will be opened from 8:20 a.m.–8:30 p.m on. Sept 9, 14, Oct. 15, Nov. 2, 22, 23, 24, Dec. 23, 27, 28, 29, 30.
*Ages 6 weeks to 12 years old.

Inclement Weather Policy

In the event of inclement weather/hazardous condition The Big Vanilla Athletic club will follow Anne Arundel County Schools closing policy.

  1. If AA Co schools are closed due to hazardous weather conditions, all morning Group fitness classes and Kids programs will be canceled. Evening classes and kids program will be held at the discretion of the instructor. Please check the website, or call the club for hours.
  2. If AA Co schools have a ONE-hour delay; there will be no early morning classes. The 8:30, 9:30 and 10:30 a.m. classes will be delayed ONE hour. Any kids program scheduled before 9:30 a.m.. will be canceled.
  3. If AA Co schools have a TWO-hour delay; there will be no early morning classes. The 9:30, and 10:30 a.m. will be delayed ONE hour. Any kids program scheduled before 10:30 a.m. will be canceled.
If inclement weather starts in the afternoon, all classes and programs will be held at the discretion of the instructor. Aquatics: If AA County Public Schools are closed or have a delayed opening there will be no morning Aquatics lessons or classes. Afternoon/Evening classes will follow their normal schedule, weather permitting. The pool will be open on normal schedule unless the entire Big Vanilla Athletic Club is closed.

School closing – No Inclement weather

If AA Co. Schools CLOSE due to THE THREAT of inclement weather, all classes and programs will run as normally scheduled. If inclement weather begins please check the website or call the club for class and program times.
