Inclement Weather Policy

Big Vanilla Pasadena Club Hours (Labor Day to Memorial Day)

Monday - Friday: 5:00 a.m. - 11 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday: 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Big Vanilla Club Pasadena Hours (Memorial Day to Labor Day)

Monday - Thursday: 5:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m.
Friday: 5:00 a.m. - 10 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday: 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Kids Club Hours*

Monday through Friday: 8:20 a.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Saturday: 8:20 a.m. - 12 noon
Sunday: 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
*Ages 6 weeks to 12 years old.

Monday - Friday 7 a.m.-9 p.m.
Saturday - Sunday 7 a.m.-4 p.m.

Inclement Weather Policy

In the event of inclement weather/hazardous condition The Big Vanilla Athletic club will follow Anne Arundel County Schools closing policy.

  1. If AA Co schools are closed due to hazardous weather conditions, all morning Group fitness classes and Kids programs will be canceled. Evening classes and kids program will be held at the discretion of the instructor. Please check the website, or call the club for hours.
  2. If AA Co schools have a ONE-hour delay; there will be no early morning classes. The 8:30, 9:30 and 10:30 a.m. classes will be delayed ONE hour. Any kids program scheduled before 9:30 a.m.. will be canceled.
  3. If AA Co schools have a TWO-hour delay; there will be no early morning classes. The 9:30, and 10:30 a.m. will be delayed ONE hour. Any kids program scheduled before 10:30 a.m. will be canceled.
If inclement weather starts in the afternoon, all classes and programs will be held at the discretion of the instructor. Decisions to cancel or modify class/program schedule will be made at 1 p.m., 3 p.m., and 5 p.m. Sign up for our Bigvweatheralerts email notices to get the news digitally about class rescheduling or cancellations or call the club for a schedule of events.   • The following departments will follow this policy:
  • Group Fitness, Big V Kid Classes, Kids Club, and Aquatics classes.

Aquatics: If AA County Public Schools are closed or have a delayed opening there will be no morning Aquatics lessons or classes. Afternoon/Evening classes will follow their normal schedule, weather permitting. The pool will be open on normal schedule unless the entire Big Vanilla Athletic Club is closed.

School closing – No Inclement weather

If AA Co. Schools CLOSE due to THE THREAT of inclement weather, all classes and programs will run as normally scheduled. If inclement weather begins please check the website or call the club for class and program times.

*Decisions to cancel or modify classes or programs will be made at 1 p.m., 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.
